Delegates will have a thorough understanding of the three characteristics of effective teaching and learning be prompted to reflect on how children learn, rather than just on what they learn. The aim of this course is to: introduce the characteristics of effective learning in more depth; to help delegates understand why the characteristics of effective learning are so important; explore different approaches to evaluating practice for effectiveness
