Delegates will have a thorough understanding of the three characteristics of effective teaching and learning; being prompted to reflect on how children learn, rather than just on what they learn.

The aim of this course is to:

• Introduce the characteristics of effective learning in more depth
• Help delegates to understand why the characteristics of effective teaching and learning are so important
• Look at some approaches to audit practice is this area to make sure it is effective
