This course will help subject leaders to develop their understanding of how the curriculum in their subject area is designed in the EYFS. It will:

• Assist subject leaders in considering the implications for progression mapping in their school.


• Enable subject leaders to have a better understanding of pedagogy in early years.


• Explore how to effectively monitor and evaluate their subject in early years.


• Support subject leaders to build connections between the aims of the national curriculum and the early years foundation stage and articulate this confidently.
