Overview:

Join teachers and TA’s who are part of a new teacher training programme as they share their experiences, and give practical suggestions on how to be more connected and creative in the classroom.

Open Theatre, a theatre company who are Doing Difference Differently, have been working in SEN schools for over 20 years. Through Teaching Differently, they are sharing their theatre practice with teaching staff and finding ways to apply their pedagogical principles across the curriculum.

What you'll gain:

  • Insights from Teachers and TA's who specifically work in SEN settings.
  • Practical techniques to enhance classroom engagement.
    A fresh perspective on inclusive teaching practices.

This session is suitable for teachers working in SEN settings and mainstream schools who want to learn more about connecting with and engaging young people with learning disabilities. We also invite SLT Teams to attend this session.
