Overview:

In this Primary D&T training event we will be joined by professional textiles practitioner and milliner Sally Harper of Shaper Arts. Sally will be leading a session that will up skill teachers in how to lead 2D shape to 3D product lessons. Delegates will design, make (and wear) a pair of slippers and go through step by step technical processes that can be taught back in school with years 3 upwards.

This event is aimed at any teachers with the remit of teaching Design and Technology lessons, or simply those that are interested in developing their textiles design and making skills. It’s also a great chance to meet and get to know Sally who also has worked extensively in primary schools.
