The BEP Curriculum Improvement offer includes specialist–led subject networks in English and in 10 foundation subjects. Each course will be delivered by experts in their field. This session will be led by the Science Learning Partnership.
The first in person session will focus on what a thorough and well sequenced curriculum might look like. Delegates will have the opportunity to explore elements of substantive and disciplinary knowledge at a practical level and discuss how this could be replicated in the classroom.
Establishing PrioritiesIn this online session, delegates will explore key areas of primary science leadership before focussing on how leaders establish priorities in science through various intelligence gathering routes.
Impacting ChangeThis final in person session will reflect on delegates’ findings in school and consider
how to impact change in priority areas. Practical approaches will be shared, and discussions led on how best to evidence excellent primary science.
