This practical session will brief Subject Leaders on the main findings of the 2023 OFSTED survey of deep dives in history, Rich Encounters with the Past. This is an important but densely written document which the session will unpack carefully. Examples of good practice will be highlighted which can be acted on straight away while advice will also be given on avoiding pitfalls which the report also identifies.
