What do we want our GCSE to achieve? Do we have a KS5 delivery to prepare them for? What is the focus of our GCSE?
We will develop a greater understanding of the requirements of GCSE Design and Technology course. We will discuss and consider how to overcome some of the difficulties of the course and look at how to structure the delivery of course so as to effectively support students through the NEA as well as allow the content to be covered in preparation for the examination.
Your KS3 Curriculum.We will look at the KS2 curriculum and consider what is currently being taught in primary settings and how this has adapted and developed over the recent years and the impact this has on our KS3 curriculum.
Department DevelopmentWhat are the achievements of our department? What difficulties do we face? What do we need to focus on this coming year to work as smart as possible?
This session will allow for the opportunity to reflect on your school year considering your opportunities for development and how to move the department forward in an inspiring but manageable way. This session will allow for group discussion and collaboration with Design and Technology teachers from other schools.
