Pedagogy Showcase

BEP School Improvement
Tuesday 18th June 2024
08:00 - 16:15

Overview:

Pedagogy is defined simply as the method, and practice, of teaching. It encompasses teaching approaches, teaching theory, and feedback and assessment.

In the current educational climate it is even more important to get the teaching and learning right for the young people we serve. Following the Ofsted changes over the last few years there has been a huge emphasis on the curriculum and while this was absolutely the right approach, now is time to ensure that we are providing the best quality teaching and learning for the delivery of these curriculums.

The BEP Pedagogy show will hear from 4 published keynote speakers who will be sharing their thoughts and ideas around this topic. We also have 4 authors from the ‘In Action’ series who will be running (repeated) workshops to discuss their findings through their research. The series of books was another brainchild of Tom Sherrington where teachers are putting education research into practice.
