OPENING DOORS TO AMBITIOUS PRIMARY ENGLISH (SPECIALIST LED ENGLISH NETWORK)
BEP School Improvement
6hrs Starting Tuesday 15th October 2024
The ‘Opening Doors’ hub in Birmingham has provided a once a term forum for training, discussion, and improvement in primary English and is now moving into its second year. These sessions will be a progression for those already members but made relevant and accessible for new schools joining. Our up-front delivery will mix more and more with case studies across Birmingham and beyond.
The principles and strategies explored for reading, writing, speaking and listening can be applied however you teach English at present. We support the development of challenging English for every pupil! All sessions will be underpinned by mindsets and strategies for equity and excellence with practical ideas to take away and three of the ‘opening doors’ books for new delegates.
