These sessions have been designed to provide Designated Safeguarding Leads and headteachers with up to the minute safeguarding and child protection information. The hour-long, half-termly briefings will include latest updates to guidance and summaries of learning from safeguarding children practice reviews, as well as many practical tips and advice for strengthening and extending safeguarding practice in school. There will be opportunities to ask questions in the meetings and request particular topics or areas for discussion across the year.
