BAS Secondary Drama Teacher Network - June

Birmingham Arts School
Wednesday 26th June 2024
16:30 - 18:00

Overview:

Teacher Networks

Birmingham Arts School leads in four teacher networks: one for primary and three for secondary schools. These networks provide valuable opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals, share best practices, and discover new ways of engaging with students in your own schools. We encourage teachers to attend these sessions to explore innovative teaching methods, advocate for excellent arts education, and have a dedicated space to discuss challenges and opportunities within their own schools.

Secondary Drama Network

Taking place across the city, these events are conducted by arts professionals who possess a keen understanding of curriculum needs and can support teachers in developing their arts practice. Similar to Primary Artslink events, there will also be opportunities to explore partnerships with arts organisations and artists, as well as opportunities to contribute to BAS's CPD program.

Our Drama Network is run by our Deputy Director Bhavik Parmar. These sessions will take place either on teams or in person at Birmingham Repertory Theatre. The next session on Wednesday 26th June will online on teams. You will be sent a calendar invite no later than a day before the event.
