Teacher Networks
Birmingham Arts School leads in four teacher networks: one for primary and three for secondary schools. These networks provide valuable opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals, share best practices, and discover new ways of engaging with students in your own schools. We encourage teachers to attend these sessions to explore innovative teaching methods, advocate for excellent arts education, and have a dedicated space to discuss challenges and opportunities within their own schools.
Secondary Dance Network in partnership with Flexus Dance Collective
Taking place across the city, these events are conducted by arts professionals who possess a keen understanding of curriculum needs and can support teachers in developing their arts practice. Similar to Primary Artslink events, there will also be opportunities to explore partnerships with arts organisations and artists, as well as opportunities to contribute to BAS's CPD program.
There are limited places so please book in advance. Sign up closes at 10am on the day of the network meeting. The next session will take place on Sunday 19th May at Wolverhampton Art Gallery.
In replacement of the cancelled January session, we would like to invite you to an increased enriching and social opportunity in May 2024. The session will involve more immersive practical activities and discussions/sharing/networking over coffee (Tea available 🙂 Cake as a definite!)
Signup will close on Thursday 16th May at 5.00pm.
