October Youth Residential to Cornwall Age group 10 to 13

You will be glad to know that, we Purbanat, are organizing an exciting 3-day residential trip for young people age group 10 to 13, to support them to achieve a better understanding of environment-related issues and appreciate mother nature more.

We are a community-focused theatre and arts organization based in Birmingham and working with young people supporting them to achieve their potential. Our work includes supporting young people to develop their social skills and engage them in positive activities outside their school and formal education.

We would love to extend this opportunity to your students as it is within our priority areas of Birmingham who may not have the opportunity to go to a residential in a safe environment.

Residential Details:

  • Pre- residential meeting with young people and parents: 2 PM & 4 PM, Sunday 20th of October at Purbanat Office, B10 0JU
  • Residential Dates: 25 October (Friday) to 27 October (Sunday), 2024
  • Destination: YHA Boswinger, Cornwall, PL26 6LL
  • Departure: From Small Heath, Birmingham at 5:00 pm on 25 October
  • Cost: Free of charge for all participants
  • Capacity: Maximum 28 participants

This fun-filled trip will also include a visit to Eden Project, Cornwall, and a range of activities aimed at fostering resilience, collaboration, and personal/social skills.

Additional Information:

  • All meals will be provided during the trip according to dietary needs (Halal, vegetarian, etc)
  • Our staff are fully DBS-checked and have completed 'Child Protection' training with the NSPCC.
  • We are producing a risk assessment for the residential, trip and the activities to minimise the possible risks/Hazards and offer a safe enjoyable experience to your child.
  • We need parent's consent including medical condition if any, photographs & media consent to book/register a place.
  • We will return to Birmingham around 4:00 pm on 27 October (depending on traffic).
  • All the Places will be offered first-come-first-served basis.
  • Last day of registration: 18/10/2024

We understand it is not School activities and the School is not taking any responsibility for the residential apart from sharing community information and opportunities.
