'My Journey, My Birmingham' Theatre in Education performance touring to schools this June

3 Performances of 'My Journey, My Birmingham' Remaining

'My Journey, My Birmingham' tells the imagined stories of some of the people from the 'From City of Empire to City of Diversity' exhibition. It explores, through interactive theatre and drama activities, some of the sacrifices they made and prejudices they faced, as well as their aspirations as they rebuilt their lives in the city.

The programme which is suited for one class (max 32 children), is 1.5 hours long in two 45 minute sections* and works best in conjunction with a schools exhibition residency, however this is not essential, and the production works well as a standalone exploration of migration to Birmingham. It can be easily linked to history topics among many other subjects.

*We will endeavour to work around your school timings (breaks, lunches etc.)

Remaining dates: Tuesday 3rd June PM & Wednesday 4th June AM and PM.

Costs:
1 performance: £375
(£337.50 for Ruby schools, £318 for Emerald School or £300 for Sapphire schools)

2 performances: £600 (On the same day)
(£540 for Ruby schools, £510 for Emerald Schools or £480 for Sapphire schools)
