Hope you are well. This is a follow up post to say a big thank you to all those who have completed the survey so far. As a reminder the deadline to complete this is 18th December. We cannot stress the importance of having schools respond to the survey as your feedback really goes along way in shaping Birmingham Arts School’s provision in the city.
It’s great to see more teachers talking about Birmingham Arts School on a daily basis and it’s always great to remind you about who we are:
Birmingham Arts School (BAS) which is part of Birmingham Education Partnership, connects schools and arts organisations – including music, dance, theatre and visual arts companies, venues and individual practitioners – across the city. It works strategically with teachers, headteachers, artists and arts organisations to reduce inequalities for children and young people by engaging schools all over Birmingham with high quality arts education opportunities. Birmingham Arts School is funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and Arts Connect.
The Birmingham Education Hub is a one stop online portal for training opportunities for teachers and artists and regular partnership events led by BAS. The ‘EduHub’ ensures that arts organisations continue to meet curriculum needs whilst encouraging schools to access the world class offer provided by the city’s arts organisations. It’s free to sign up to the Hub and it’s the best way to be updated on all the arts offers available for your schools. You can sign up to the hub on the following link; https://birmingham.eduhub.org.uk
