Celebrating Careers Week and Supporting Students in the Cultural Sector
Hello All,

Hope you are well and had a lovely weekend. As we celebrate National Careers Week 2025, it's a great time to reflect on the vital role the cultural sector plays in the economy—contributing over £126 billion annually and employing over 2.3 million people in the UK. Yet, many young people are unaware of the vast career opportunities available within the arts, media, and creative industries. At BEP, we are committed to changing that.

Last month, BOA Digital Academy approached us with a request for a motivation and leadership programme—something to inspire their students, support PSHE outcomes, and help them understand not just career paths, but the skills and processes that drive success in creative industries. So we did exactly that.

I've designed a 10-week Leadership, Motivation & Success Programme, carefully aligned with the PSHE curriculum and Gatsby Benchmarks, helping students explore aspirations, overcome barriers, and connect learning to real-world opportunities. This programme equips students with the confidence, resilience, and industry insights needed for future careers. Email me if you are interested  to see a full breakdown of every session, along with our aims, outcomes, and costs and how this programme can really support the needs of your young people. My email: bhavik.parmar@bep.education

We also offer Careers Assemblies, providing an engaging and practical insight into careers in the arts and creative industries, tailored to inspire students and highlight the diverse opportunities available.

For teachers, we have one Secondary Training event this month, specifically for Drama and Performing Arts Leads. In partnership with Stan’s Café, we’re delivering a ‘Devising in the Classroom’ CPD on 13th March, 1pm-3.30pm—with post-CPD resources and lunch included for an affordable £55 per personBook here: www.tinyurl.com/bassc25
If you'd like a conversation with me to explore how we can support your school’s careers and arts education provision, please do reach out. I look forward to hearing from you.

I hope all your students have a truly inspirational week!
