Hello Everyone,
We've got two exciting events on Thursday 14th March. As part of the BAS CPD Programme Ikon are leading a session on printing making with a range of resources designed to engage teachers and their students. They will be responding to their 'Start the Press!' exhibition which will be an exciting invitation to experiment with printmaking. The best part is that this CPD is available to Primary, Secondary and Special Schools. The second best part? Lunch is included! Find out more and book your place now on www.tinyurl.com/IkonGalleryCPD
On the very same day, we have an event for headteachers and arts coordinators. This is our arts partnership showcase, an event where you can see practical activity taking place with students led by arts organisations and consider how this could benefit your young people. In a world where VR and digital innovation is rapidly increasing this Arts Partnership Showcases is focused purely on the work of Birmingham Open Media and Round Midnight - its a FREE event and it will really open your eyes to how you can find dynamic ways of teaching and engaging with your young people. Again these organisations work with young people from a range of abilities and ages. You can book now on www.tinyurl.com/APSDigital
The cut off date to book for both these events is this Wednesday 6th March at 10.30am. Please book as soon as possible if you are interested in attending.
