BAS Digital Advent Calendar - Just 6 more days of giveaways remain!

Hello All,

The last few days of the term can be incredibly tiring and we all need something to uplift us! Well for 6 more days you have a chance at winning a free arts offer as part of Birmingham Art School's Digital Advent Calendar. From tickets to workshops and resources, a few simple clicks can bring a lovely treat for your school that has been donated by our cultural partners.

So far all the following schools have won prizes:

 

Saint John Wall Catholic School - 2x tickets to see Vamos Theatres' 'Boy on the Roof' at Midlands Arts Centre - Provided by Vamos Theatre

Court Farm Primary School - 35 tickets to KS2 concert or 35 tickets to KS3 concert - Provided by City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra

Highfield Junior and Infant School - 2 week residency for ‘City of Empire to City of Diversity – a visual journey ‘ Sampad's school photography exhibition looking at migration and their ‘ I have a Dream – a selection of young people’s writing from the UK and India’ - Provided by Sampad South Asian Arts and Heritage

Four Dwellings Primary School - Half day or twilight INSET for KS2 teachers exploring composing in the classroom and book - Provided by Birmingham Contemporary Music Group

Timberley Academy - 3 copies of Violet and the Sea Giant by Autin Dance Theatre

Ninestiles Academy - 2 x sets of family tickets to 2025 Youth Proms Concert by Services for Education

Today, courtesy of Ikon Gallery you have the chance of winning a FREE guided tour and artist-led workshop at Ikon Gallery!

Explore Ikon’s spring exhibitions by artists Mahtab Hussein and Htein Lin, followed by a practical activity led by Ikon’s education team. Students will learn printmaking skills and explore the true meaning of artistic freedom, in response to Htein Lin’s work, made during the artists’ time as a political prisoner in Myanmar.
This offer is suitable for both Primary and Secondary schools.

To enter simply sign up. You have by 4:00pm today to sign up and by 6pm we will pick a winner from all signed up teachers (we will only count one entry per school). There are only 30 entries available for each giveaway so act fast! We will announce the winning school on BAS Social Media.
