Book your place now for this engaging Arts Connect CPD workshop led by Becki Emery, local artist and arts educator whose work is based around explorations of nature and the environment.
Becki will immerse you in an inspiring practical day which will include a guided tour of the ‘Earthbound’ exhibition at The New Art Gallery Walsall, she will then explore nature-based art techniques using recycled and natural materials to develop creative activities in school for you to take straight back to the classroom.
Through the making process of the day Becki will also share ideas for approaching wellbeing and mindfulness with pupils and provide you with take-away strategies for engaging pupils in discussions about nature and the environment using creative approaches.

A bit about Becki Emery
Becki Emery is a local artist and arts educator whose work is based in explorations of nature and the environment. She is also the Art Activity Provider in Walsall and Sandwell for Nature Makers, the UK’s leading provider of Mindful Nature Art, Craft & Play Experiences.
