Creative Composing Lab takes place once a term and is for young people in Years 10-13. Led by composer David Horne, students are supported to compose for a trio of BCMG musicians. Throughout the day they learn how to develop their ideas, learn new composing techniques, and explore the instruments they’ll be composing for.  In this workshop, students will be inspired by Anime and compose for a trio of violin, bassoon and trombone. This workshop will be particularly useful for young people studying GCSE, BTEC or A-level music, but is open to anyone who loves creating new music and enjoys meeting like-minded young musicians.
